I am Mrs. Kavita Ravi Kori. My address is 149, Ramnagar, Nagpur. I left school after 9thStandard. Today I am 37 years old. Husband working as labour in decoration company.

I come from very poor joint family comprising of husband, daughter, father-in-law. We are managing on meager salary of my husband. I could never think of joining any course because it is expensive and un-affordable.
I was visited by social worker from NGO AROHA and she explained about the training programmes run by the NGO. When I came to know about tailoring course, I thought of this as god sent opportunity.

After completing this course. I have started stitching dresses and blouses. Customers are from the neighbourhood. In last two months I have earned around Rs. 2000/-. I am able to pay my daughter’s tuition fees. Best part of it is I am also able to look after my unwell father-in-law and support the family income. I am still practicing. I have a long way to go.
